Default who knows about car radios

I am reinstalling an entire stereo system that was in my truck but came out because I was going to sell it and ended up not selling it. Anyway, I have all the speakers, amps, and wires ran. Now that im installing the headunit Ive come to a problem. The little plug that goes into the back of the headunit and goes to a big male end wiring hardness is whats confusing me. I have that male end plug, and then the other big plug that is ran to the amps is the other big plug I have which is also male end. I dont remember an adapter being between the two, and I cant find the female end plug under my dash anywhere. help is greatly appreciated.

The plug on the left in my hand is the one plugging into the headunit, the one on the right runs back and plugs into the amp powering the door speakers.

Does one of them have to plug into somewhere pre existing in the truck that feeds power?

go to wally world to the audiop section and buy the adapter piece ... all it does is keeps you from cutting your factory wiring harness make sure to get the one for your year and make and its plug and play from there... and there only like 10-20 so it saves the headache...

wrong plug, dig around in there you will find another one. you are holding the speaker plug which you don't need.

Yes, those old F150's/ Bronco's had two plugs-one for power, etc and the black for speaker wires. With the RCA's hooked up, it looks as though you are not planning to use the HU to run the speakers anyway. So you would only need the other grey female plug that is behind that sleeve somewhere in the dash. Follow back that black plug about 8 inches and you will find the grey plug harness taped with the black harness back there. If you are missing the grey plug, I am sure I have some old ones laying around here if that is all you need. Let me know...
