Technically YOU brought it up. I think you meant he lost 500 points (not -500, or he'd gain) for mentioning he loves eminence.
And who is this 97hatchy character coming in here making stupid remarks like that? I'd like to see him try and go on through his life without ANY low frequencies.
Take out his stock sub in his car, take out his subwoofer box at home for his home theater, take out the subwoofers (or reduce the ability of the loudspeakers) at the movie theaters...... etc.
Talk about a boring experience.

ok ok..........enuff little boys....lol i just wanted to say that...but yea i think a nice 6.5 in speaker is gonna have better MID-BASS but suck at anything lower than...uhmmm i would say 125hz...the 6x9s would be great at low end bass that i wouldnt consider midbass....i dunno, just a though here

Hell yeah, my Eminence rock. I need some loud mids/highs to keep up with the bass. When I had my BTLs in I couldnt even hear my 8 Eminence on heavy bass songs.
Heres the system I got in my room. Its ghetto I know... 8 Eminence 6.5s and 2 Polk 12s. Shits pretty loud. Ghetto FTW.
