Default xm satalite radio prob

my xm radio keeps saying no signal or antenna on the screen ive checked the wireing everything is fine. if i turn it off for a while and then turn it back on it gets signal for about 10min and then it goes back to saying antenna or no signal. Ive tried aiming the antenna but still nothing works. Does anybody have any suggestions or should i just get rid of the damn thing and buy an i pod

replace antenna, they go bad all the time, when you replace it just mount on center of dash, keep the elements off of it, it will last longer

If you've already tried moving the antenna, try replacing it with a new one. 9 times out of 10 that will solve the problem. How old is it?
