turning the radio down when you see a cop is not out of respect, you would be a complete IDIOT if you didnt..turning your radio down while at a light, driving in a neighborehood (mainly at night) ect. are respectfull things.
also, when I see someone properly set up a chevy for those big rims ill have respect, but when your an idiot and dont upgrade anything BUT the basic suspention I dont have respect, you go from a 15, to 22 inch HEAVY ass chrome rim but think the brakes are going to work just fine?? COME ON!

Then again, what do they know? They have only been designing cars for 75 years with the collective knowledge and wisdom from more than a century. There not a more sure way to make yourself look dumb than to say that stock parts can stop that kind of mass with less than half the original leverage.

On an average car, yes better pads will make it stop better, half the problem is the overheating, those take ALOT longer and ALOT more pressure to stop them vs. the regular rim, that little ass rotor and cheap caliper ect. arent going to perform the way somthing bigger/better would do.
also, what about the problem I See when there driving down the road and cant even keep the shit strait. the car tries to follow the grooves in the road instead of going where you tell it to go, do you know what would cause that?

wow, after reading all this crap...
im 18, and i LOVE bass!! but im not the kind of kid that drives around showing everyone what i got, yes i'v gotten ONE ticket for my music being to loud..but that was my stupidity and i'v learned from it. if im driving and turn it up, i leave my windows up simply as that. if im showing it off to friends in a parklot or at work, i stay far away from anyone else- yea i like the attention it can bring..but it's not always going to be positive. if you want the attention do it the right way w/o pissing ppl off, getting tickets, and waking ppl up...thats just retarted imo! im in the process of hacking up my truck and putting four 12's two 15's 3 amps, hub, mids/highs and some lighting. and no im not going to be blasting it everywhere i go, making sure everybody can hear me coming.. the only place i'll be turning it up is in the right place and at the right time where NOBODY can bitch/complain. it's more about the respect for your custom work and for show, not distrubing the peace....
personaly i laugh when ppl roll up next to me at a light with their music loud as shit, windows all down-ac on...usually in a peice of shit car, always trying to race ppl, thinking it's funny and cool..
