need a little help
Most amps bridged only accept 4ohm loads, so I'm guessing that is the problem. 4gauge ground (or 0 if it accepts) and power wouldn't hurt either.

that amp wouldnt even make use of 8ohm - its a <600w amp.
Is this a dual voice coil sub? How do you have the 4 channels hooked up? Are the subs in parallel, series, or separate channels? Your best bet to make sure things are hooked up right is to first take two leads off at a time and put an ohmmeter up to them.
we already solved it - the sub was wired to 2ohms. rather than dick with 4ohm bridged to the amp i just told him to wire it to 8 - he says its working great.
