Been looking for a few good songs to grab to test my car's stereo lately. I've found a good site so far with a few random tracks, sound interesting and testing them out on my home stereo first, they sound pretty good.

Anyone know what good Bands/CDs/whatever are extremely good for maxing out a stereo's capabilities to find weak spots? I know Toby likes to use a few Evanescence tracks to show a car's true weak spots due to the female vocals and the rough hitting guitars.

And one of my personal favorites is pretty much anything in Massive Attack's collections (especially Mezzanine), if your stereo can happily play more than 90% of it, its a good stereo.

Also anyone know any other sites like these but geared even more toward straight stereo testing?

i like bass mekanik - power tools and their quad maximus cd for tuning maybe just because i have it and don't want to download/buy new cds with test tones and such on them also they have music and such with vocals

Bach will point out up so many flaws in your system you will think you bought durabrand speakers and used a AA to power them.

I'm not talking about the radio either - get a nice 320kbp rip off BT. I never touch that CD because every time I do I always end up with new mids, new headunit, and totally rewiring my car.
