yeah most likely in a few months when i get a Z32 I'm putting a Code alarm/Remote start in it, the battery life and functionality and small size are very good.

Overall its a decent alarm.



Does anyone know if they sell a version where the siren only plays like one tone? instead of going through like 7 of them.... i hate the way alarms sound with the varying sounds... i'd prefer just one, and usually its the first one.

 

the songbird attachment will play one tone or even a sound effect. You cal also buy a custom siren off ebay and hook it up.

 

I was looking for info on the songbird but I couldnt find anything, even their website, they are only ~12shipped on ebay so it might be worth it but I have no idea what sounds they have.

 

YOU USE TO BE ABLE TO PROGRAM WHAT TONE YOU LIKED - SOME SIRENS HAVE A WIRE LOOP THE WHEN CUT IT JUST GIVES ONE SOUND -

TRY THIS FIND A OLD POLICE AIR SIREN AND HOOK IT UP, NOW YOU GET SOME ATTENTION WHEN IT GOES OFF ---
DIFFERNT SUBJECT - WHERE/WHAT ARE THE STROBE LITES YOU CAN GET FOR YOUR CAR - I WANT SOME BUT DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE CALLED OR WHERE TO GET THEM (YOU SEE THEN ON SHOW VECHILES IN THE TURN SIGNAL LENSES)

 

Or even better get an Air Raid Horn (the ones that you used to rotate to make the air raid warning sound). That'd be weird haha.

That'd probably definetly get some attention if you lived in Kansas. Although people would probably be running for their bunkers rather than looking for a car.
