Good idea, I'm going to take the suggestion and mount the monoblock over the 4channel some time within the next few days. As for the grill, AVE didnt have one that fit so im still looking for one.

I was thinking possibly of putting a carpeted panel raised 2.5" over the sub with a little neon light to glow around from underneath but John brushed the rice out of my hair and I kept looking for a grill.

In tampa, its all about that free roadside assistance on your insurance. Plus I charge less to fiberglass the wheel well than I do to build an MDF enclosure

Yeah, two entirles different planes. If youre going to all the trouble to glass it in, why dont you just take and build a quick framework, one flat piece that would fit the two amps side by side and make it meet "fluch" with the floor?

LIke a big arch that fills in all the rough edges in the back of the trunk? One chunk of fleece and some glass, and carpet?

How many layers of fiberglass did you use? Please don't tell me it's just that one layer of fleece or whatever you used in that one picture....

Take a sheet of MDF the same size and shape of the baffle, cut a hole in it bigger than the sub, cover the hole with expanded metal (mesh...lowe's has it) and then carpet. think false floor... May need a couple spacers, depending on excursion of the sub.
