well an update:
After trying every which way we could to get the wheel well enclosure to sound like what I was looking for, we tried a D6 Diamond 12 in a small ported enclosure, and put about 800 watts to it. It sounded so much better it wasn't even close! The Diamonds simply need more space than we could give it in the wheel well, and even though I was never a big fan of ported enclosures, it does this sub a lot of justice. With the gains turned down, its tight, punchy, and quite musical. Switch it over to hip hop, turn the gain up to 7 or so, and it is as loud as I would want.
I'm super impressed with the sound now. I just am waiting on putting in the new head unit and I'll be done with it.
Thanks a lot to Dalton for all his help and patience. I never knew I'd be so picky

Here is my rendition of Toby's suggestion about stacking the amp
I had some issues getting the output I was hoping for from the sub, but I think ive narrowed it down to the voltage output from the line outs from the deck and the lack of sensitivity of the amplifiers. Basicly I had to turn the gain up a lot.

Poopy
I really like how the cap and amp look mounted up there, he should get another real cheap for the other side just for aesthetics, even if it doesnt hold a charge .
I dont want to sound like an ass but maybe theres a switch on the side of the amp you both overlooked that has the sensitivity way too low? i know i have one on my stupid monoblock and it looks exactly like two other switches and if i ever accidentally switch it, i have the hardest time finding out that thats the source.
anyways, just throwing out ideas.

That is a good choice of equipment, id like to do a custom set up but it would cost me well over 1,000, ill just keep my shit the way it is, sound awesome and pounds and rattles the car like crazy

Or maybe it's just your box.
