I have a 2004 dodge 2500 and I hooked up a converter that has the rca jacks on it so you can hook an amp up to your stock radio. Well I hooked it up and now neither the radio or the alarm work. I unhooked it and I still cant get it to work. I checked all the fuses and still nothing. If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

 

you might possibly have grounded a speaker lead indirectly through the ground loop isolator on the LOC... that would take the stereo out. Not sure how it would affect the alarm though.

If you've put everythinhg back to stock and it still doesnt work, PM TJelite and get directions to his shop. He knows a lot about data-bus and other oem computer systems and he can probably diagnose/repair whatever you killed.
