I'm serious about the PYLE crap... The people who buy pyple, cant install it.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing how a show car setup would put up on the meter when installed by pros. Hell, the entire fucking car could probably be equipped for less than $600 in all pyle.

I'm talking about fiberglassed enclosures, angled subs, flushed amp racks, LCDs n shit the whole nine yards all in pyle(they make everything).

Instead of putting so much into making it "look" good...why not spend more time making it "sound" good. That would be the hard part. Main thing would be to fine tune an enclosure for the subs, upgrade the electrical system, custom kickpanels with enclosures for the mids, and one helluva sound processing unit. Do like 4 Pyle 12's, each with a Pyle 2000w amp on it. Maybe 2 sets of Pyle components up front, each with a Pyle 1000w amp on them. Fill the doors and floor with concrete. Might actually bang out a 130.

If the goal is to build a mid 150s car with Pyle equipment... I'm in!

150 with pyle is unrealistic. But I think 140s could be obtainable!

What kind of vehicle do you think would be a good platform to start with? Astro, Aerostar, Windstar, E150, etc? Or more along old SUV range (suburban, blazer, explorer, etc)?

If we can get an older Astro Cargo that would be perfect for an SPL car.

I say we go for the 4 MJ18s and an Orion 2500D. A cheap set of comps and just build a fartbox and have a SM3-4 car that will do mid 150s.
