First of all, you two fight like a married couple, but at least I got some kind of answer out of you.

Anyways, what are your thoughts of a bandpass box???

Fight? Where?

I dont like bandpass. Of course I've never heard a bandpass built JUST for the sub, but they always just sounded terrible, and you cant never hear distortion until its too late.

Your Best Bet Is To Have A Big Ported Box And A Lot Of Power (a Class D Amp Would Be Better) And Without Having Your Seat Down And Having A Small Trunk You Really Have No Choice.

bandpass will be the loudest, but sound like fart above the tunig freq.

I am going to cut out the rear deck and build a ported dual box to point up into it. With the proper tools and patience you can keep it looking clean and give yourself +5db.

umm do you have a jigsaw? if so just go buy a bunch of fine metal bits last time I needed 3 so you may wanna get 4. I used a dremel to smooth the edges and fiberglassed new 5 1/4" speaker mounts but if you properly build the sub box to point up through there you can just build speaker mounts off of the box.

Check out this guys profile, he did what I'm doin to, it look s100% pimpish.
