Default i have enough bass, and enough highs..but wheres the mids???

ok so, im getting an amp for my highs within the month im thinking and i know im going to be overpowering my subs like crazy.. but that doesnt matter, i have the polk momo carbon fiber series speakers inside the car, 5x7's and 6 1/2's...but they really dont put out any bass, i know that they arent supposed to, but i like my mids.. and there rreally lacking, would you guys suggest using like a pair of 6 inch subs or somthing inside for added mids?
im a really big fan of mids exp since i listen to all types of music. and really i havent heard an amped set of highs that have enough mids to me. so yeah help please.

most def want to seal the doors up....also sound deaden them be it dynamat or road kill or what ever ....as far your 61/2" components there should be sufficient mids if tuned properly....sound processors will do alot of good..but a good X-over will do too

just my $.02

thats the amp in your head unit starting to clip Id reckon. Get them amplified externally, and deaden the shit out of the doors, and try to seal the holes as best as possilbe with dynamat or whatever.. that should liven them up

ypu dont really have to do the outer skin.., as long as the inside skin is relativley sealed, and deadened up good.. I had 2 layers on my civic doors... they were quiet.

which is more important to deaden, the place you mount the speakers, or the area behind it (the side that is also the exterior door).

I would say the inner door skin (place you mount the speakers) I mean, having both done wouldnt hurt, but its such a pita to do the oustide skin, when if you seal the inner skin off and do 2 layer son it, instead of one on both it would have just about the same effect.
