i didnt fuck with the gain at all...the gain is set at like 3/4 way up and has stayed there since day one...A&B Audio did the install so they wired it up and shit...its still under warranty...i jsut have to pay for shipping.

Maybe you should try a real stereo shop instead of A&B 
They hook u up if u know em but I wouldnt get anything installed there, I dont know why I just dont get the best feelilng when I walk in there.
EDIT if your in clearwater, I'd go to AVE Audio on 19 across from macaroni grill, or Audio Empire down in Pinellas Park....if you want any glass or custom work like that done, Audio Empire is fuckin awesome.

oh well no worries anymore...someone broke in my truck last nite and stole everything...including my blown subs, while also sucessfully hot wiring the truck. thank god for FoMoCo and their factory anti theft devices. the car had power, lights were on, window washers pumpin, gauges all lit up, seeing how they didnt have my keys they couldnt get it to turn over tho cause the chip in the keys. fucking bastards.
