Default setup question

I have 2 image dynamics subwoofers, and a rockford fosgate amp, and i'm trying to figure out if/how i can hook them up. The subs are the IDQ V1 series and are SVC 4 ohm with an RMS of 200. the amplifier is a 400s and is rated at 400 watts bridged at 4 ohms.

how to i wire it all?

Series. You could run them down to 2ohms..but I've found RF amps get extremely hot while that low.

not really.. since it wil lbe in 2 ohms, the wattage will jump, so you acommodate with the gain

would this amp work with my subs? it's bridgeable to 200 watts rms at 4 ohms, so the subs should see 400 watts at 2 ohms right? Would the amp over-heat?
