Default So I need to buy two pairs of component mids/highs..

Any good recommendations? I'll probably buy off of eBay to save some cash.. thinking of mbQ, diamond, or Boston Acoustics... any other recommendations? Must be very crisp, clear, and accurate.

I have Infinity presently with JL SE40T tweeters..infinity is stock, but its gold series running off of stock 180w 4-channel amp. Will be replaced by MTX Blue Thunder 4-channel amp. Sounds OK presently, but bass really drowns out the highs when I crank it.

EDIT: And does anyone make a component 6x9 set? Or is it basically only available in the 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, etc..?

for the 6x9's you can get the 2 way ones with the crossover thing.. i have my polk momo ones liek that, so its basically componets that are hooked together.

well mine are 5x7's but they sound good to me.. i compared them to the type R 6 1/2 and 5x7 and these blew them out of the water

i cant compare them to componets cuz the only ones i have heard are the factory ones in my car lol
