false floor help
Depnding on whats under neath, but you might want to consider dynomatting the bottom, this will keep the rattle down and give you a cleaner sound, also if there is bare meattle under neath it will help a great deal because subs work on the theroy of a magnet to move air so if you have bare meattle it will effect the movement of air.

Sorry guys, let me explain more in detail..Your Amp generates electrical energy that altenates constantly from positive to negative in a pattern of waves that very in diffrent sizes. Your amp output is connected to the speaker at the terminal strip. The fine braided wire that carries the signals from the terminals on the frame to the conductors on the cone leading to the Voice coil Assembly. These wires are extremely flexible to allow the cone to move back and forth without restrictions. The Voice coil itself is mounted on a rigid cylinder in the center of the cone. All the moving parts operate as a single unit, moving back and forth in the magnetic field. If the Magnet is Mounted near a Mettle floor, the floor will interact with the magnetic field. Dynomatting the floor will solve this problam. Just trying to be Helpfull guys.
I don't know if I should laugh or what, so instead I think I'm just going to nod, smile, and slowly back away.
