Depends on what is underneath, you might want to look into that a little more. Or you could just built it to where you don't even need to screw it down.

i never screwed the floor itslef down, I made two braces out of 2x4 that fit inside the wheelwell and made the floor sit level, so I could remove the panels if I wanted to..say for storage or whatever. that and it means you only have 4 screws instead of like 8.. and the center section is supported.

still in the process of getting it plated, hasnt been done yet, friends dad is doing it for cheap so im not gonna push it. i c what u guys are saying sorta. but since i already cut it out the way i did im just gonna risk it itll only be like 4 screw to hold it down i just wanted to c if u could tell me what size to use. i bought 1 1/2" screws today i think it should be fine. its gonna be pretty sweet, starting on the amp rack already just cuttin out the piece so far, but mosquitoes were killer so i called it quits for today. start again 2morrow morning.
ill get pics if i can grab a digi.

its supported by the bottom of the car, and the other section is supported by hinges and the sides of the car.

Every car is different so do it whatever way you feel necessary. My best advice is to not skimp or take the short/easy way out on anything. Do it right the first time because I can almost guarantee you will be re-doing or tweaking it in the near future. I learned this the hardway, many times.
