measuring your amp output?

Default measuring your amp output?

I was thinking if there is any way i can measure the output of my amp?? from what i know, an oscilloscope can be used for measuring power. is there are any other devices? how much would an oscilloscope cost?

yeah i found a buch on ebay, prices from $50-10,000!!!

but the quistion is, will it measure the output. and whats difference between a $50 and a $10,000 oscilloscope. Do they have a max for measuring or am just gonna burn them.
