Default my tweeters are cutting out

Well I installed my system pretty much(minus my sub which is on back order). I have a 75x4rms profile amp pushing a pair of 6.5 CDT Coaxials and a pair of CDT 6.5 components up front. Now I'm not going to lie, its not as loud as I wanted it but thats not even the problem. After a few minutes of being turned up the tweeters lose their clarity/volume. Any idea why this would happen? Thanks alot.

Well I bought these amps because everyone said they were good for the money and put out their rated RMS. AND people had nothing but good things to say about the CDTs as well. Is there any way to check to see whats up?

Profile amps do absolutley no justice to CDT components. Not sure if your problem is necessarily the amp, but it's a good start.

I've been thinking of getting another amp that puts out like 100rms x 2 for the components and just adding another set of the CDT coaxials to be pushed by the 4 channel amp. Whats a good cheap amp that will push 100rms x 2?
