I'm personally not a big fan of Panasonic. I've installed a HU (although it wasn't that particular one) before and it wasn't too impressive. I'm sure it will atleast be better than your stock unit though.

the thing that draws me away from that... i need a button to feel, a texture to touch.. I like being bale to turn the volume up without looking, or use the presets.. and that HU (form what ive used of it) has no discernable way to know what button youre baout ot hit.. without looking.. not safe fro driving

Actually I own the CQ-HX2083U the upgraded version I constantly get compliments on how clean it looks, how well it matches the interior, sound quality, never skips mp3 is GREAT, plain is the POINT with this unit, off it looks solid black, and as far as having buttons, I almost always use the remote anyways. Best headunit I've ever seen, and I get the same feedback from everyone that sees it!

it was around $350 or so that I paid for it. But totally worth every cent, if not for the 60wx4 or for the sweet graphical frequency analizer, I leave it in the mode where there is nothing on the screen at all but the analizer. Had I been given a pen and a pad to dream up what would be the best headunit ever, this is what I would've come up with, no joke
