any help with my system
to start i dont really know too muchabout systems but i hooked mine up all by my self and now im runnung into some problems. first to what i hope is a simple fix is that when i play cd's loud about 56 on vol. level the music cuts on and off when bass hits the cd stops not the amps is it drawing too much power...or is wireing with the cd player screwed up..or something else maby i need a cap my dome lights do dim a bit but when i listen to the radio i can turn it all the wat up to 100 with no problem. i have 2 amps a legacy 1000 for mids and high's and an kenwood 600 going into 2 power acoustic fubr 10' 600 rms each maby the amps are drawing too much power from the amp causing it to turn off.i have no clue hopefully someone here can help it sucks when listening to cd's and can only turn the volume up half way especally when it seems when ever i drive the radio plays nothing but commercials.id appreciate any help.
I think that there is a sizable current draw for the electrical system. TRY: a new battery, the battery might be about exhausted. and maybe running a seperate line for the power wire fro the head unit, directly to the battery with a larger guage.

Neon so the only prob ur having is the cd skips when the bass hits. Well yeah its the bass that causes it to skip. What brand is the cd player? My first ever cd player was cheap as hell and did the same thing urs is doing. If its a cheap player u might wanna considering spending the money to get a better one

I seriously doubt it's the bass judging from his equipment, no offense. The cd player is skipping or turning off complety? Is your car running when this happens?

yah it stops while im driving i did buy a cheap cd player whick also can be the problem i think that the rca are drawing too much even with the bass at -4 or -6 it stops aat about 80 out of 100 on the volume. the cd player is a sound storm50x4 i bought it because it had front/rear/aux/sub outputs and was cheap i couldnt find a cd player with all that, that i could afford anyway.but before my new subs i had cheap 250 rms subs to the same amp amd had no problem my new subs are 600 rms and are now doing that.
not bad bro not bad, looks clean. I also like that 6 1/2 speaker u got back there.
So ur saying u had the same H/U, as ur previous set up and now that u get these new subs every time the bass hit the cd player turns off? Im kind of confused now

I'm confused too. So it's completely cutting off and not skipping? And it also does it while your car is running?

yah. while im driving, it only cuts off for the cd part and not the radio, it doesnt shut off but the minute display stops a second or two then it plays again it does that for all deep bass. the cd doesnt skip i knoe really loud bass can cause that but its not that loud especally because it cant be turned that loud.it never did this until i got these sub's even when i bridged the ampp to 1 sub it did it.
