Default Need ideas on system and Info on a GS400 system

Hey, I am new to this whole audio thing. When it comes to cars, I know a little (or will learn) about everything, but audio is completely over my head. I figure I need to change this now.

Anyways, I drive a s13 chassis 240sx fastback. When I first got the car, it had a old aftermarket sony cassette deck and all speakers were blown. I replaced the deck with this cheap unit because I got it for a really good price; http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&cc=01&avf=N.
I also got four 4x6" boston acoustics for my car because my cousin recommended them to me when he visited and they do sound really nice in the supra (stock deck and sub); http://www.bostonacoustics.com/ca_pr...&CategoryID=14

I guess now I could need an amp and sub, but I really don't know what to get. I would like for the rest of the system to be somewhat lightweight and easily removable(if possible. I would also like it to be cheap, like about $500 or less. When I was driving my uncle's 99 GS400, I really liked the system. I know it is a premium sound package that has a stock amp and sub. I would like my system to sound similar to this, maybe a little better. Could I do this with my speakers and cheapo deck? What do you all suggest?

Also, if you all know of any good sites where I can learn more about car audio.

Thanks, Johann

i bet you could pick up a small sub, like a 10, in a box, and feed it 125 watts or so, for under 500 dollars.

There are always used amps and subs in the classified section. Most are pretty good quality. Get a bridgeable 2 channel amp and a corresponding sub in whatever box is best for the sub. As long as its not a custom box, it should be easily removable.
