Default Help this is pissing me off

Ok im gonna try to make this quick and simple. My amp was working now its not lol. ok heres the story. Im getting ready for college, so i deciede do a home car security project, like fuel cutoff switch etc. one of my projects was to move my amp from the trunk to under the front passenger seat. I also re wired my headunit using those clips things ok when i hooked everything up no sound came out of my amp. now im pisssed and worried. i tried to investigate. i chaged the fuses on my amp, no luck. it lights up and everything. i donthave a volti meter thing so i got my head phones and i connected themm to the preouts from my head unit and there was no sound or static or anything. Anyone have any ideas

Is it possible you have the rca connected to a set of preouts you have the HU faded away from. Or if you have a sub output you make want to check and see if disconnecting the power of the HU didn't reset the settings and now your sub out is turned to off.

If your amp is lighting up you have a good + - and remote. So all you have to troubleshoot is the signal coming from the HU and the signal going to the speaker(s).

Let us know if you need anymore help.

if it turns on, but no sound, its either signal imput, signal output or internal... since it turns on and doesnt go into protection, sounds like the speaker wires arent shorting.... double check the rcas..
