need some help

Default need some help

i have 2 12's in a 2002 explorer and ive checked and rechecked the wiring but the bass still cuts out every once in a while for about 5 seconds and then comes back fine.....so if anyone has any advice id appreciate it

the only reason i ask is cuz my old shitty jensen amp would overheat if turned up too much so if u had a cheap amp thats prolly why

i have a jl 300/2 and two audiobahns but maybe i do need a better amp....any suggestions...thnks

I doubt it's your amp. How hot does it get when it cuts out? I'm guessing it's a ground. Has it done this since you installed it, or has it worked perfectly up to this point?

yea i was hoping it wasnt the amp....but ill check the ground..and the subs require 4-6 ohms
