well its definitly not the ground...but its not the amp b/c it plays fine on low volume even if the amp is overheating wouldnt it not play at all IM SO LOST DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO NOW...IM ABOUT TO GO TO AN AUDIO SHOP AND PAY THEM 50 BUCKS JUST FOR THEM TO TELL ME IT WAS SOMETHING STUPID........AHHH

No, if it was overheating it would only cut off when you turn it up real loud and play some heavy bass for a period of time...then it would turn back on when it cooled down a little. Put your hand on the amp when it cuts off and see just how hot it is...

What model audiobahn subs and how do you have them wired?
