I am in no way a GTR "fanboi".
That being said, comparing a top of the line model Viper to a base model GTR is like comparing a midget to a giant in a size competition (that was really bad). I love vipers, I have driven one and it was an absolute blast, but you just have to look at it from a price and model stand point. Awesome, they beat the GTR...but now they have to hope that the top of the line model of the GTR doesn't beat them.

That Viper was driven by a Zakspeed pro Race Driver.
Zakspeed is a racing team, located not far away from the ring.
Everytime I was at the Nordschleife, there also was one of those Zakspeed Vipers.
These guys are on that track almost every day, they could do a run on it with their eyes closed.
Let's sit one of them in the GT-R or the ZR1 and compare again.......awesome time none the less!

i hope thats not the best time that vipers gonna pull. and they're comparing the end all be all ultimate viper with a la-mans class driver to a basic run of the mill factory GTR with a decent factory driver. strip the GTR down, throw on some better tires and put Keiichi Tsuchiya at the wheel and see what happens
