would it be a good idea to rebuild a turbo on a 93 talon and run 9 psi with an internally stock engine?someone slap me if this is a stupid ?

Ill slap you because stock dsms run about 12psi. I run 20 under my stock internals. Some run 30 but this is a 90-92 big rod 6bolt block

damn thanks for the info i wasnt aware of that.dont most stock turbos run at like 6 psi tho?

no. most internal wastegates are set at 10psi some are 15psi. DSMs have a BCS that allows them to run 12psi stock. You cant run less boost than the wastegate is set at.
