Need a quick answer....
My car sat for about 6 months at town n country body shop and i had a boost controller on it. Well i got it back a few days ago and it started throwing codes for the waste gate. And i figured it had something to do with the fact that the factory boost controller isnt connected anymore. So i took the aftermarket off and hooked the factory controller up and it only boosted to 7 psi. Any ideas?

i thought you worked at mastro?
Nah i hooked it up right. But i think im going to hook the boost controller back up and set it exactly at 14 and see what happens from there....The code its throwing has something to do with the wastegate on the turbo. And yes i do work at Mastro. However, if you dont have the OBD moniter handy at home, then your SOL sometimes. Truth be known, not even the older mechanics know the factory boost settings off hand lol. I knew it was 14 i just had to be sure for what i was about to do next. Ill do some dabbling with it tomorrow morning. Ill probably have to reflash the ECU and some other shit. The stand alone probably lost its memory from the battery being disconnected for so long. My car was sitting for 7 months at town n country waiting on parts and the insurance company to stop screwing around. I also have to do a big tune up too. Plugs, flushes and all that jazz. Im sure all that will make a difference. Im definitely going to have to go get it tuned again sometime. But i aint letting any of the butchers around here touch my car. Ive seen too many *tuned* cars go to shit around here by the supposed *tuning gods* in this town. Although, i havent checked out S&R yet....Any info on those guys? My friend is supposed to get his EVO tuned there when he gets back from the desert....maybe ill check em out then...

sounds like your missing the restrictor pill that goes inside the hose coming off the t-valve for the factory boost controller. same thing happened to me and a few other people on here. so all it does is hold the wastegate wide open.
well that decides that, i'm not ever getting any work done at Mastro Subaru! I've always been weary of taking my car to ANY SOA dealership since they screwed me the first time, but i guess that pretty much settles that.
Thanks for being such an accurate representation of what i can expect from Mastro Subaru, you've saved me alot of time and money.
wow, maybe time for a career change?
check your factory boost solenoid its prolly f'd.
