this is what Ive picked up from driving teh Suby...not sure how much will translate to a celica, but here goes.

-Dont run different sized tires, different brands of tires, or tires with different amounts of wear on the car. Front to back or side to side, they should all be the same. If not youll throw off the center diff and end up having to replace it if you go long enough like that.

-If you ever have the car towed, make sure its on a flatbed. Having only 2 wheels on the ground will make your center diff go ape shit too. (Im not sure about having all four wheels on the ground behind a truck, but I wouldnt risk it)

-No ebrake slides (not that you would anyway ). Again center diff go bye-bye if done repeatedly.

-AWD is not idiot proof. It is better under unfavorable conditions than 2wd, but it will not save your ass if youre driving like a jackass in the rain.

Basically just watch out for that center diff. And enjoy your new burnout-less world.

thanks shoellnasty and John, Im not too familiar with teh subys so sounds like that center diff is the part you want to baby. The All-Trac Celica comes with a 5spd tranny that reasembles a FWD tranny but has connector in the rear of the tranny that the drive shaft for the rear attaches too, Kinda like the Mitsu GTX. Is the Center Diff that you talk about in the tranny itself?

What John said, let the clutch slip and take the abuse NOT the tranny and the rest of the driveline....
