I have not rev'd on anyone worth while for quite sometime, because of the recent crackdown and the fact that my car is a completely stock B16 Hybrid hatch. Well after being in Paris and New York for 14 days (ie not driving), I was jonzing hard to stretch out my cars proverbial legs. Tonight I got my chance. While coming home with the wife from Bo's Ice cream, I rolled up to the cleanest Boxster S I have ever seen, wide rims, lowered, exhaust, and I'm sure some other factory/and non factory options. Anyhow, I revved while rolling up on his quarter panel, @70 when he let her loose. He got the jump on the throttle, because I had not even down shifted yet. Should've went to third, because fourth was barely in Vtec, but ohwell. He hardly got away, my sluggish start and sloppy fifth gear shift (haven't driven in 2 or so weeks) let him get the better end of the race. He won buy a car, but "I get him next time......next time!!!"
Cool guy, but I thought he would have smacked me down, but instead he said with and enthusiastic thumbs up "That thing is fast!" I smiled, gave him the thumb and rolled home under the speed limit. That is all.

Yeah my Vega has a stock SBII Chevy NASCAR motor built by RCR inc in it so it is stock too.

Always giving me shit. I don't post my wins. Without sounding cocky, there a quite a few of those too. I just like getting beat. Ask my wife? I posted this because I had many disadvantages and still held my own over a car that should be faster and one who got the jump. Plus it just felt good to be in a car rather than a Subway. Fucker!
