I finally decide to head to the racetrack saturday night for the first time in a long long time. i show up at around 3am or so and do a couple solo passes on the track looking for the track officials hiding, on my way back to the tampa side of the bride i notice a black z28 heading towards tampa. I get one of these looks on my face , Turning to catch up to the z28 i notice a little nitto sticker on the back window ( I remember seeing that sticker on the back window last time we raced ). My pretty much went to as i knew the same out come was near. We slow it down to about a 35-40mph roll and hit it. I held pretty even through my second gear, shifted to third and he started pulling away and I couldn't do anything about it. I knew it was coming though since nothing else had been done to the se-r since the last time i saw him except the clutch getting worse and worse. Even with a brand new clutch there is no way I would be able to take him (yet ),. So Good kill Will!! it was nice finally getting to meet you and few others that night. I also lost to another ls1 powered z28 and raced a black supercharged corrado but we were both having big problems with our clutches so it wasn't really a good race at all. i will rerun him again in 2 or 3 weeks when my new clutch is in and been through the break in period. Good kill again Will and your buddy with the silver z28, i think his name was john if I remember correctly.

Damn it! I left at 3am, just as Will was leaving to run the other Z, would have liked to have met ya.
Clutch problems huh? How many have you done? #5 ( ) for me is just right, finally. Had some good quality TNT Saturday night with it, and seems to be perfect at long last.
Will is a monster--props for not backing down, and taking it like a man. I won't run him, I'll be just another "kill story in the making"...

This is only my second clutch but i got back when I was n/a. it is only about 8 months old and centerforce claimed it is supposed to hold 90% over stock. Well it doesn't seem to like the boost anymore So i ordered a spec clutch which will hopefully arrive at my door tomorrow or wed. If I feel like i'll throw it in this weekend or i may just wait till next weekend. I just had the tranny out not 3 weeks ago replacing my clutch arm. i knew i should have changed the clutch then But i just didn't have the funds. So now i get to spend 1 more day removing and installing the tranny. I hate doing this kind of shit on the ground.

Sounds like some good racing.. Will told us about your race SI.. Good Kill... Up the boost and get some 140 Octane and come see the big boys..
