13.79 @ 101 really isnt stock LS1 time....

I cant say ive ever seen one run that slow. However, you could call out 4.6's or an occasional Bullitt

More than you can chew Al

------------------------------
If you can hook ok on the street then you could have a shot for sure with stock LS1s till about 80 or so.

i've seen them go 13.97 but not to say they shouldnt be averaging 13.4-5 but were talking on the street...im not gonna run up to 100+ too often on the street...ever see a LS1 trap 83 in the 1/8th? ive gone 81 mph...again it's only to that point i think i have a chance...in the second half of the track i expect them to go by me....the first half the 0-80 race on the street i have hung around with a couple...no disrespect none at all...lets face it the L is the king of the street ...but im sneeking up on the stock ones and soon i hope to be a real contender, as my intentions are to be a low 13 second car on the motor with maybe a 200 lb. weight reduction from my current 3750(driver) weight...and this will come only from trading heavy parts for lighter ones...i dont want to give the wrong impression...i respect all (most) performance cars,im 34 and just like to drive fast next to a fast car... alittle in front of a fast car wouldnt be bad either..
