I can run a 125/125 dual stage of nitrous and 11.3 to 1 compression. Usually on sat night you catch me with 100/100 dual shot tooling around somewhere.

Just found out I have a good line on some LS6 heads though. if I go that route I may do a solid roller top end with LS6 heads. Still have hydraulic setup currently with crappy ARE LS1 heads.

Im still not sure which stang is yours. Although Ive seen a few very healthy sounding stangs in the last few weeks. Next time Im out come say hi.

I assure you I never even got into it.
I was pulling up closer to you and was at about your back bumper when I downshifted. At the first sign of revs you just took off all the way across the bridge never slowing down. Jeez dude usually I line up at 40 or so and have someone count down.

But thats cool. We can try again motor for motor when we are both out.
I gaurentee you it will be closer this time. But your car is quick!

 

hmmm...I know 2 cars I'd like to see you go up against...a couple years ago, before I was really into cars at all, I went to a drag strip in texas with my dad and a bunch of his buddies were there running their cars...the best race I EVER saw was between a black tt supra with nitrous and "the fastest ZO6 in america" with nitrous, he called it a ZO7 and had custom ZO7 markings on his car...was kinda cool...anyway like I said this was before i was into cars at all and so I have no idea what else was done to them or what their best times were at all..but they lined up and raced and I honestly don't remember who won but they were both in the low 10's and both got into the 140's , vvveerrryyyyy nice cars...wish I could go back and ask some questions now ...I'd put those 2 cars up against any car here on TR, they both owned body shops and had quite a bit of money...the ZO7 car had andretti drive his corvette in some race out in west texas where you run street cars on some really long road course...got it 200+...if any of you guys can get your cars into the 10's or 9's and run 140's I think you had respect from just about anybody on this face of this planet, lol

Your description of those races in Texas sound like the MTI Z07 that was built for SW. It has run 9.7s at 142 or so. Its a 427 with a 200 shot. Probably around 750 rwhp. I wonder if the Supra was SW's also. Intersting.

yep, it was SW's, haha, cool guy, the other guy though with the supra, his name was Dan, owned another body shop in Austin that my dad was friends with, he was putting out 650 whp I believe, may be wrong...I wish i could remember who had won , interesting though that I've met the guy and people here have even heard about him, haha, cool...
