off at some spot way off in the boonies, i just get there and immendiately some old domestic drag car wants to run me. it was i believe a 70's nova, blue in color. it had a built '350 small block' in it (whatever the fuck that is), roll cage,big hood, slicks and who the fuck knows what else. i told him it would be pointless to go from a dead stop so he wanted to go from a 10mph roll which i said would also be pointless....i dont drive around on slicks. i didnt want it to be a race to see who has better tires, in my mind its stupid and pointless, so instead i got him to go from a 25-30mph roll which is fuckin awful for me but the futher i am away from 1st gear the better.

so we roll out down this road with about 20 cars following. i was at about 3500-3800rpm in 2nd which nets me at about 75hp at that rpm(turbo doesnt hit full boost till like 5700 and vtec till 5300. we both hit it and he instantly jumps at least 2-3 cars on me. finally vtec, full boost(almost 17psi w/ a little 118oct mixed in), tire spin, torque steer, etc and i start to actually move. go into third and hes still about 2-3 cars up. top of third, i got to about his back bumper, then into forth and i pass him then go in front of him just to be a dick. by the top of 4th i had about 2 cars on him and pulling away so i let off and got back into my lane and slowed down. go run and its always fun to beat a domestic talking shit with a motor more than 3 times the size of mine.

 

thats the shit.. dammit.. your running 17psi now and with 118 i know your car is fucking hauling ass.. what were you running when you gave me the hit and blew by me on the interstate?

damn domestics, sorry i beat one of your comrads but i didnt say i cut him off and went right by him and proceded to go in front of him just like if u were to pass some one on the interstate. if i would kept getting on it, it would have been buslengths. and why the fuck would i wanna race a car on slicks when i have street tires??? we werent at the track, we were on the streets. drag radials are one thing, slicks are another. gimme a pair of slicks and ill race anyone from a dead stop
