I got a few races in last night. First race was a friend of mine in a starion. I spun through first and he jumped ahead of me, then I hit second and pulled by him and shut down after I pulled past him in 3rd.

Next was a turbo civic. He jumped the start a bit, and we both spun all the way through 1st with me slightly ahead. Then his turbo spools, he gets traction, hits 2nd, then 3rd immediately and pulls past me pretty hard. When I hit 3rd I knew it was over. Mad props to him on the clean and quick civic....maybe we can line up again once I start modding

Then I raced an 88 Mustang Gt with a few mods for the camera's. I still launched like shit and he steadily pulled on me....twice haha. Good race though, we need to line up at the track sometime. Maybe the guy who was filming this race will put it up soon.

 

Sounds like you need some drag radials.

 

maybe, but mainly I just have to get used to the car. I've had it for about 2 months, and just raced it the first time last weekend. Before the SS I had a v6 camaro...big change of course.

 

Wow! That is a big jump. I'm sure you already know this but try feathering the clutch off the line instead of poping the clutch and flooring it. It will give you much better traction.

 

i dont think it was me(i havent raced anyone in a long time) but what did the turbo civic look like (year, color, body style, etc.?) good kills/losses
