On my way home last night i notice the C5 flying up behind me. We get cought at a short red light causing us to almost stop but it turned green before I was at a complete stop and he nailed it. He immediatly jumped about a 1/2 to 3/4 car. I very very very slowly start to catch up but ran out of room before we had to shut it down beacuse the next light up the road was already red. We both find empty lanes and the light goes green. He is nice enough to wait for me to get next to him before we jump on it again. About mid way through the intersection we both go. I was slowly pulling on him through the gears. I think the furthest back he got was to my rear bumper and we shut it down (we were in the early triple digits). He turned off at a gas station so my buddy following me said we should go back and talk. So we bust a u turn and go talk to the guy. He said the car was stock, which I'm pretty sure it was. And told me my car was quick as well. So after about 3 minutes of blowing smoke up eachothers asses talking nice about each others car he had to go. He apparently was on his way to orlando and got lost and stopped for direction. It was a real nice blue c5. I don't know if I could have gotten him from a dead stop. most likely not unless he was a shitty driver but It was fun anyway. That was the first c5 i have got race yet and hopefully I can find a few more to see how I average against them (see stock, not ones with 500hp licence plates ). i know I had a shit eating grin from ear to ear the rest of the way home though .
