Well, i'm on my way home from a friends house on davis island. i'm doing a solid 85-90 to 110 in some spots weavin in and out of traffic. come of 275 at bearss going towards nebraska. get caught at the nebraska light and there is a gts in front of me and a gst to the right of the gts. light turns green and gts goes i front of gst...i accelerate little more and more go around the bend near the driving range and i loo behind me and i could tell it was sheriff headlights....so i lft off the accelerator and ease on the e-brake to slow down and not mke it look drastic....l of a sudden i se the rollers and the brightest flood light i have ever seen in my life. i pull off onto skipper rd. and the sheriff comes upto me and asks me if i knew that racing was punishable by incarceration..i said yes i did know that...but i wasn't racing i was speeding. then asks for usual license, regisration, insurance. comes back like 15 minutes later with a ticket (THANK GOD I DIDN'T GO TO JAIL) for $280. he said i was going 85 in a 45 zone...there was no way i was going 85 in that short of time and he said that he gave me the maximum amont over te speed limit without being arrested. i'm just lucky my insurace isn't going up b/c am taking that class so my ticket price goes down also from $280 to $239 and all 4 points off my license. i u run into deputy hajj give him my regards

 

hes not the asshole......you are, .....youre the one doing somthing wrong, hes doing his job, if he gave u a ticket for going 5mph over then maybe he would be an asshole......but not 45over

 

yeah, he's not the asshole. i just got caught thistime. tht's why i'm mad. chill out bro, u don't have to pay $280 out of your 16 y.o budget.

You deserved the ticket, don't be an asshole driver...

 

He wasnt a ass you could have gone to jail, so he was cool he didnt do that.
If you have a good record take it to court and the judge might drop the ticket and you pay court fines and no points but 45 over is going to be pushing it.

Also thats a bad place to speed lots of cops in that area.

 

Hmmmm i think the 280.00$ is punishment enough give the kid a break everyone drives like an ass at 16 lets not beat a dead horse

 

Werd to your moms!! The Sheriff should be getting praised for being a generous man! I, myself, got stopped Saturday (68 in a 40), and he was cool enough to let me go with a "have a nice day", but I was cool and cooperative with him... I'm sure the USMC thing may have had something to do with it, too, but still.
