Guys, I know nothing about engine swaps, as Ive said, lol. And yes, I was talking about corey being a smart ass, he has a tendency to do that often.

I already talked to the guy today, he said he made a mistake, he THOUGHT we could do the swap with what we already had, but he said I would have to buy a lot of other things, so I just told him to forget it, ill look for a 88-93 5.0 Mustang car with damage, that has a good engine, and go from there.

werent you looking for a 400 dollar car just a couple weeks ago...

im reminded of the saying, "if its too good to be true it probably is"

i coulda finished the 1/4 and had time to spare before u made it to the line...thats sad... i think u should keep that car as a DD and save up for a worthwhile project...and IMO 5.0's are junk, now granted with some cash they will be quick, but i have only went down to 1 so far at sunshine...and i doubt he was very street legal with the wheelie bars and all.

So, your saying 5.0's are slow? Thats a new one.. I know off the top of my head.. hmm like 7 of them at Sunshine speedway that run 6's... thats slow, right? In your eyes, if a 5.0 is not a "Worthy Project" then what is?

xcorp, how many of them are street cars...the cars i see run 6's out there have damn wheelie bars or big ass slicks. and there are fast 5.0's there is no doubt about it, but it takes a 5.0 to have more then an exhaust to beat me.

and here is a list of projects i would attempt if i knew anything about carb's or domestics...

build up a 440 cuda
350 chevette
3rd gen camaro w/ a stroked 350 would be nice (383)
and i could list many others.
a T- Type
