I had a Viper guy at Road Atlanta tell me the same thing. He was explaining to me how he would pull on the Vette. Unfortnately, we were running in different groups, so we were not on the track together. However, once he heard the Vette scream by pit road, he came over when I pulled & asked, "What to hell do you have in there?" I opened the hood & he said, "Forget what I said before."

Actually, our C5R-block engine is different than the race engines in that ours is customed designed for lower compression, so that we can add twin turbos (race engine is 12.5; ours is only 10.2) & ours produces significantly more torque than the race engines, since I am more interested in ET, which is better for what I do. The C5R race cars are 545 RWHP & 435 RWTQ, whereas right now we are 450 RWHP & 520 RWTQ, with a goal of getting both up to >625 RW when the TT's are installed.

Good Kill

Now why is it I can never get a race with a 03 Cobra. Last time I tryed (Saturday) I had the stock side mount intercooler and a blown head gasket running stock boost levels(probably would have been a good run ) and the guy in the cobra wouldn't bite.

Does that say 7 Liters? Damn that's a big engine. Looks very nice and very fast. Can I get a ride when you get the TT setup? lol

That's about what the stock little 281cid modmotors are doing with the Kenny belle blowers.

David
That is really pushing a 281 to get that. I know most people who build 427-TT's run lower boost for longevity. For example, we prefer running Road Atlanta vs running the 1/4 mile. So instead of running for 11 seconds, you run for 30-45 minutes at a time. I am not too sure I would want to run high boost over an extended period. However, I do know of one guy who had his 427 pushed a little harder & he ran the 1/4 in the high 8's.

But whatever your preference, high HP in a blast!!!!
