on the way to ybor:
i'm puttering along at a few mph over the speed limit, and some red 5th gen accord with an exhaust follows me for like two miles, then blazes past me. i poke the accelerator and eventually catch up to him, slow him down, and give him a little run. just half of third gear was enough to make my point. it was sad, really. he then stayed behind me for the remainder of the time i was on i-4.
on the way home:
again, puttering along at my standard few mph over the speed limit, a light blue 5th gen accord with a (different) exhaust shows up as two blue headlight dots behind me, eventually rocketing past me. i wasnt going to chance the pricey ticket of catching this one, until i noticed that he was now getting onto the ramp for i75. i hoped he would be heading north and upped it a few mph to close the distance. one of my favorite onramps, i attacked with the mighty azenis' and before i was even halfway through the onramp i had already caught up to mr speed racer. the onramp straightens out, and as it merges onto i75 i put into trusty third gear, changed lanes, and should have waved bye bye as i sauntered by him. i even got into fourth gear, just to drive my point home. but he didnt get it, and came back for more. so, obligingly, i let him have a car (again) lead and (again) passed him before even using 2000 rpms. i decided to let fourth take a rest, and put it into granny mode again. he decided i wasnt cool, and went sailing off at however fast the accord could take him. i feel kind of bad about beating up my accord homeys. but not really.

 

i would be pissed to lose to your car.

it looks just like "some" accord.
