Last night I lined up with a dark blue/violet Dodge R/T. He said he only had bolt-ons and a set of slicks. Totally cool guy, watch out if you run across one in St. Pete. Well, short story, I got smoked by a Dakota.

Him: Me:
60': 1.88 2.36
1/4: 13.48 14.03
mph: 99.98 102.37

After the race, he said you should've got a V8. I agreed, or at least a RWD turbo.

I did another pass and ran a 13.85 @ 103.37, with another 2.3 60' time. Need to launch better.

Watch out for those guys. He says he loves watching Lightning owners' faces when he runs them. I'd say he probably surprise a lot of drivers out there.

 

The only Lightings to be worried will be the ones with the non drivers...

 

Yeah he beat you but with better traction you will beat him he's trapping under 100mph your are 102. You'll get him next time

Yup, it just shows that you can be beat by ANYTHING. There was this raggy van running 12s all motor. I mean, if you think your car is the fastest, would you have the drive to make your car faster?
