Alright, so I was coming back from Tampa Tuesday night after checking the bridge for my friend stolen truck. I came to the left hand turn off of Veterans to get on the bridge. We get stopped at that light and this hatch back pulls up next to me and says he wants to run me at the next light. I am like, ok. So as we come around the bend to the next light, I'm thinking, I've been worked by swapped hatchs before so this is gonna suck but I'll give it a go, it didn't sound strong. So, we get to the light and I only had a second or 2 to set my rev and green goes so I guess I launched at 2500 rpm which is a litle high for me. Anyways, end of first, I got a car on him, easy. Slam second, little spin then go again, I put another half a car on him, then 3rd, I put another half a car on him. I'm thinking, either my car is running "REALLY" good or he messed up. Turns out, he spun off the line bad and could never catch up. At the next light he pulls up, "Man, that thing is quick, what, do you have a GS-R?" I almost fell out of my seat. He said he was working w/ an LS but I would have thought it would run better then that. Like I said, normally, I'll get worked by a swapped HB but not tonight

Things get better. He tried to get me to race again on the bridge but there was too much traffic and it would have tacken to long to get into my higher rpm's. So I didn't race him. Still would have killed him again.

The next night (Wednesday night) Some of my friends were leaving Checkers and we took Bayside bridge. I know there is always a cop sitting at the end of the bridge on the South side of the bridge. I didn't slow down. I got on it raceing my friends girlfriends GS-T Spyder. We were doing about 95mph as we passed the cop on the side shooting radar the other way. "SHIT!" I stayed on it. I was already doing 95mph, so I down shifted and was at 120+mph in no time at all. I bury the needle and keep going knowing that he say us racing. I'm just thinking, "Good bye CDL, hello judge." So my friend sees me stay on it and decides to stay w/ me. We get to the other side and get of on Gulf to Bay, and go into the Speedway Gas Station near the corner and park in the back and watch for him. Never saw him but my friend called me and told me not to slow down so I stayed on it. After about a minute, we see the Sheriffs Helicopter go north onto McMullen Booth Rd. All me tought is that they were after us. So we leave the station and head towards the beach to meet up w/ everyone. I go to make a lane change and realize I have no power steering. "SHIT!" So, I'm thinking of things I can check w/ out pulling over, so I turn the heat on, I have heat, then I turned the A/C on, no A/C. I then thought I threw the belt. Turns out I did so I'm running w/ no A/C now and no Power steering. Running much stronger, noticably stronger, so I'm gonna leave them off for awhile until I get the underdrive pulleys.

So, all in all, the last 2 nights have been fun. I love highway battles.

I was cruising in 5th at 95 mph and dropped it into 4th and put it to the floor.

There are quite a few dodge people ready for 1320 when you are.

 

sept 5th.

 

i will be at the auto-x on sunday, september 8th provided i can drive down from connecticut without getting into an accident.

i won't have limited slip on the 8th...but i'll have it soon thereafter...and today i was faster than all of the neon's...except for mark daddio in his 270hp 2.4l turbo neon.

so this should be fun...i can't wait to be there.
