Default Rx7 Vs Rx7 Vs Tdi

So a few of us rolled out to Kissimmee tonight for Rotary Invasion in Old Town. We hung out for quite a while and then everyone started leaving. We figured we would cruise around the area looking to see how they get down. Needless to say we just ended up wasting more time and gas, so we packed up and headed home.

Cruising down four, i lined my 87 up against a 91 vert, just for giggles. I did a 3rd gear pull, vert is auto for the time being. The vert honked it off (i have no horn) and we stayed together till i hit 4th. I Started pulling away a fair bit so i shut down close to the top of 4. We grouped back up with the crew and kept riding.

Bout a half hour later, a Diesel VW TDI comes shooting up out of no where. At this point there are three 7s cruising together. TDI pulls up on the right side, down shifts and hit the pedal. Puff of smoke and there he goes. I run him down, in 3rd gear of course, line up and wait for him to take the hit (no horn). He down shifts, takes the hit, so i jump on it and start pulling hard..... no need to hit 4th, its over.

The TDI stays with the group, so we line him up with the Vert. They honk it off and the vert jumps out on the hit, and stays out a car or two till they shut down. TDI guy was cool and showed us all a good time. All an all the weather stayed nice, we had a good show, good food, and good company. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice.
