ok i dont know if the sti is out yet but this is what happened. i was traveling down the highway when i see a white subaru with an sti wing, and exhaust, no wrx badge on it, it had something else but i didnt pay any attention to it because i was thinking it was a wrx. when i get to its side i see a huge sticker accross it that says STI in red. i look in the front and see no bumper then i notice :o a huge ass front mount intercooler, so now im thinking, "man i wonder if he has an upgraded turbo?" so we proceed to go from a roll, im in low boost 17-18psi, and gun it in 3rd, we stay even for a few sec and i start to pull away, but due to traffic we have to slow down. i get behind him, im thinking hes not going to race now so i put it into 4th @ 3000-3500rpm, then i see him gun it, i just step on the gas, he keeps pulling until about 4000-4500rpm where hes not pulling anymore, i start to catch up and get about 1/2 car behind him and step on the brakes if not i wouldve hit him. good race not what i expected but if the driver is on this board or reads here, nice car man, and id like to know what u have done to it, im interested in the subarus, going to get one pretty soon.

 

what should that shit run when it's broken-in and fully tuned, zate?

i got a cousin in the car dealership getting me a deal of 500 over invoice. i think the final price was like 23,000 plus tax, everything including the oz wheels. what i wanna know are some websites with upgrade information, and a site that explains the wrx, specs etc. anything else ill be sure to ask u. thanks

 

www.i-club.com - it's a great site, just watch out for what some people say in the forums, a lot of bullshit floats around. but if you look hard enough, you should find anything you need.

 

sounds good, i was suppose to go out there two wks ago but didnt make it there. wont be there this weekend cuz i have a trip to pack for the following week, so maybe ill come out two sats from now.
