R/T vs. ACR (?)
Raced on 19 going north in Contryside. He had a weight advantage on me. But, the R/T was strong. Charles was a witness as he was in my car. We approached the bridges on 19 near Countryside and every time he down shifted, he jumped a bit more then I did but my ECU helped even the playing field cause I could hold my gears longer and make power all the way to red line. He liked to jump on it for a sec and then when I would down shift and start pulling up to him, he would back off so he thought he was the winner. Well, after he did this twice, I managed to get him to stay on it and this time he didn't let off. He had a car on me at the start but I reeled him in slowly and by the time he let off, I had a fender on him and still going. It wasn't a huge margin of victory, but it was still a win and a good race at that. I don't get to many chances to highway battle w/ a car that is close to mine. Still, a very good race.
Good kill man.........420A POWER!!!!! You Neon boys are so lucky that you have an ECU upgrade. I would love to increase my redline. Howell Automotive is working on an ECU upgrade for us 420A powered Eclipses.

Thanks. Yeah, the ECU upgrade is great. Instead of my power falling off around redline (6800 rpm), now, it makes power all the way to redline (7500 rpm). It was kinda funny racing him cause you could hear him shift and I would hold my gear for about another 5-10 seconds longer. I don't see why the ECU for a Neon wouldn't fit a RS or a GS. I believe the ECU's are in the same spot (infront of drivers side strut tower).
I think it has to do more of how the ECU works rather than fitment.

If you are familiar w/ them then you know how funny it is to see the look on the other ones face when he gets beat but it is never fast enough so the search continues for a job to support my need for speed. Everyone, take it easy and if its easy, take it twice. CYA.

LOL It was a lot of fun.
We did some simple mods to that car and it was faster than my A3 GTI VR6 when it was stock. Gut the cat and a few simple exhaust mods and it's quicker than anyone would expect. Careful with the tranny though.

I believe that the car you speak of belongs to a guy named Jason. He lives near Zephyrhills. Car is very clean and a show winner and it runs pretty descent too. Don't talk to them now but I'll still give credit where it is due. It is a very nice car.
