Older guy with his wife in their nice SL 500 (not the newest generation) convertible. I shifted to second at about 4-5000 but left it in second as he seemed to want to go. He pulled about a car on me by the top of third. Good race but I wish I had stayed in first

 

I doubt he was on it completely I had one walk my old DSM awhile back from a roll all the way to about 130I could not cath him and I was pulling damn near 100 in the 1/4 at the time. Was he blowing alot of black smoke from the tailpipes?

 

Nah.. no black smoke.. I dunno.. I thought a Mercedes 5.0L V8 would hand me my ass pretty badly.. :confused:

 

Maybe I am mistaken and I raced the SL600? Cause it had hellacious topend. You prolly pissed him off though by being right there!
