driving gingerly down one road I slow beside the fabled GS-T I always pick on. we slow to 15 and a C-4 (friend of ours) pulls alongside. we all drop!
the GS-T pulls away because he has his headers open and no passengers... I have 4 people in the car a jack and two race wheels and tires in the trunk the c-4 has a passenger. and for some reason I PULLED ON THE VETTE!!!! it was complete bullshit and I amlost wrecked laughing!!! i even held him off! we let off due to traffic and I was still ahead and I had NO jump on him his tranny reacted slowly he says. anyhow my whole car load is posting on message boards everywhere how a GT with a car full bested a C-4.
Then it was supra vs supra hauling ass by us shooting flames 4 out the back COOOOOLNESS!!!
then DSM vs Supra... the supra outlaunched the FWD talon and the talon PULLED ON HIM. 27psi vs single turbo upgrade? damn I wish I could play with them.
Then I lined up with an OLD SCHOOL 300zx turbo. I got no traction on the launch and spun like mad (usually I use my holeshot to stave of would be pullers butttttttt) we were steady in first he shifted I pulled I shifted he pulled..steady through second we both shifted and I pulled b/c he has issues with 3rd. then it engaged and he PULLED 2 cars.
thats what my holeshot usually is.. WAH--- I lost.
(FYI we race a ~1/3 mile stretch)
someone else races then I go to line up vs the C4 so he can redeem himself... but a marked car goes by... and turns around and parks a 1/2mi back.
then an unmarked goes by and does the same. then another marked.
luckily we were looking and everyone stopped moving. we ended up with 3 vics behind us (2marked) parked a 1/2 mile back on the same side 4 in front of us parked out of out view but not out of our lookouts and ONE unmarked Lumina cruising back and forth.
then it happened... one of them hauled ass up to us and on his loudspeaker Clear the area NOW
we obliged and one guy in an Altima got pulled for following too closely... he was told something like We had complaints of street racing and I know YOU werent (letting him know he was getting off) but tell your friends that OUR bosses are coming down on us for it so you guys be more careful and dont do it in this county anymore ok
he got no ticket and conveyed the message.

suck to hear that but at least the cops really dont care. its the cops bosses (higher ups) who must be getting wind of it now and making them do something about it.

 

I was purposely NOT saying where. And yeah its Gainesville.

There were more races but I was trying to find my radio (2way) and set up the next races thus I missed seeing some of them. There are some fast cars for you to play with if you come up. The TSI (didnt come b/c it needs brakes but is up and running now) ran a 12.2 and a 12.1 last Friday at 112 or 117 I dont recall. He might be racing in BOTH races at Gainesville Raceway this weekend but would focus more on the SCCA side. Maybe Ill meet some of you fuckers this weekend. Ill be in a red Mustang with a UF Gator head on the passenger rear fender the #138 on the passenger door SM on both rear 1/4 windows KUMHO stickers on each side (no billitt rims this time back to the waffles with V700s for the weekend) and SCCA decals on each side. All are magnets so I dont normally lool like that.

Anyway though I couldnt pull him until the top end my car isnt geared for a drop at 40-45 mph(2.59s b/c it goes into 2nd gear when I punch it wont drop to 1st-rpms are very low-but first gear goes until 48mph but it wont kick down after about 38mph). It wasnt that my tranny reacted slowly.

Now lets do a 35mph roll and a dig. Well see who gets walked. The thing about a roll is were already in the rpm range and yeah he can hang from a higher mph roll too(weve done that before-remember the night with the supra and TSI).

I bet when we do a 35mph roll I will start to walk immediately but I guess well see wont we? That is if we are going out though b/c I have a feeling some people wont feel like going out this week.

 

Yeah i dunno if well be playing for a while.
Recall is was MY idea to go somewhere else originally and Jon wanted to go to the look out he convinced Sav.
We had just been to look out hte week before but OH WELL. We REALLY need to go back where the 240 lost his tranny.
