we are on union mcmullen and we catch a light and he wanted to go so i made him my bitch off the line and i went to hit 2nd and i tried to shift too fast and it wouldnt go in (im still getting used to my shifts in my new car) and then we caught another light and he wanted me to laucnh from 2nd gear..so i did and i beat him by maybe half a car (this must be why he thinks he kept up) then we raced again this time launching from 1st and i ripped 2nd right past his face he probly was distracted by the vtec screaming the the flash of my tailights flying past him so maybe he thought it was closer.
