Default Stockish GSR vs 05ish EP3

On my way home last night pulled up to a traffic light. I'm in far left lane, truck in middle, and EP3 far right lane. Light goes green and I hear tires squelling from the other side of the truck so for some reason I proceed to get into it. When I clear the truck the EP3 was about 2-3 car out. Stayed in it until the top of 3rd which I was passing the EP3 pretty hard and maybe a car out. About a mile up we pull up to yet another red light. This time I left the light at maybe 2000 rpm and put maybe 1 1/2 car lengths on the EP3 by the end of 2nd and let out. Didn't want to pull much harder being 2am and on Seminole Blvd. I like my license Good runs regardless. Battle of teh slowness.

What about the newer coupe Si's? On my way to sell the car I pulled up on a really clean one. We were heading north on the Howard Franklin. I put an easy 4-5 cars on him from 60-120mph. He was screaming out the window in disbelief when I yelled to him my car was basically stock. They look heavy as hell.

Okay.. GS-R = 2600lbs / Mazda3 = 2980lbs. about the same as an EP3. I don't get it?? The newer Si didn't seem too fast for a car that runs a 15.0 sec 1/4 mile. Anyways, the GS-R has been sold so no need to keep this thread open.
